This position supports managing order, item, and bill-of-material operations. The role is crucial in optimizing Master Data processes and enhancing operational and financial reporting capabilities. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data to ensure item specifications and bills of materials are accurate and consistent.
Essential Job Functions:
Create and maintain inventory items and BOMs for accurate MRP demand. Map current Master Data processes, identify improvements, and streamline activities. Implement changes for enhanced operational and financial reporting. Develop and maintain SOPs and training documentation for Master Data processes. Collaborate with IT for system changes and implementations. Engage with various departments to confirm order details and understand item specifications. Standardize item data code logic and establish new governance as needed. Analyze inventory, demand, purchasing, production, and customer order trends to enhance data accuracy and process improvements. Develop Excel tools and reports to automate processes and increase data transparency. Understand company ERP systems and their impact on product data flow. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Product Development, Planners, Procurement, and Finance. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Management Information Systems preferred. Preferably 2+ years of experience. Knowledge of Bill of Material or product configurations is a plus. Intermediate or higher proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Understanding of BI tools and supply chain processes. Experience with ERP systems is desired. Ability to work independently and in a team. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills under tight deadlines. Adaptability to changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Results-oriented, detail-oriented, and motivated to succeed. Willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed.
