KMS
and our government customer in Washington, DC.

Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support our government client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise systems in classified environments.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and security of both physical and virtual server environments. Core responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain enterprise servers and systems infrastructure
Administer Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and associated systems
Implement security controls and DISA STIGs
Configure and maintain network monitoring systems
Perform system patching, updates, and maintenance
Manage user accounts and access controls
Implement backup and recovery procedures
Support virtual desktop infrastructure
Troubleshoot complex system issues
Monitor system performance and security
Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures
Provide technical consultation and training
Manage asset inventory and licensing
Generate required systems reports and metrics
Education and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of system administration experienceOR
Minimum 8 years of system administration experience
Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
Required Skills and Competencies:
CompTIA Network+ and/or Security+ certification
ITIL 4 Foundation certification
Strong experience with Microsoft server technologies
Expertise in system security implementation
Knowledge of virtualization technologies
Experience with enterprise storage systems
Proficiency in backup and recovery procedures
Understanding of network protocols and architecture
Experience with classified systems
Strong documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with change management processes
Desired Skills and Competencies:
Additional technical certifications
Experience with IBM and Dell enterprise hardware
Knowledge of database administration
Cisco systems experience
Cloud technology expertise
Experience with automation tools
Knowledge of DISA STIGs
Security audit experience
Project management skills
Experience with government systems
Scripting and automation capabilities
VMware administration experience
