Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Data Scientist with TS/SCI Clearance in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia area. This is a full-time position supporting a federal government-focused technology company. Regular travel to client sites and secure facilities is expected.

About the Role: Our client is an advanced analytics company supporting both government and commercial sectors. Their AI platform enables users to transform complex data into powerful visualizations and predictive models using no-code tools. The platform is currently deployed across federal agencies and major enterprise organizations.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to support mission-critical analytics and AI/ML deployments.

Responsibilities: Utilize the company's AI platform to develop and deploy production-ready solutions. Own the full lifecycle of AI solution development from ideation to implementation. Work with customer data and big data frameworks (e.g., Databricks) to design effective workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, explainable AI models. Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI security clearance required. Must be based in or near Washington, DC/Northern Virginia with access to SCIFs. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 3+ years of experience with Python and Python data stack (pandas, numpy, sklearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.). 1+ year of experience deploying machine learning models in production environments. 1-2 years of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Elasticsearch, graph databases). Experience with Git, Docker, and/or Kubernetes. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and communication skills. Preferred Skills:

Experience leading projects from within a SCIF environment. Background in cyber analytics, PCAP/network monitoring, or vulnerability analysis. Familiarity with distributed systems such as Spark, Dask, Snowpark, or Kafka. Experience with workflow/task orchestration tools (e.g., Celery, Airflow, Prefect) and web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django).
