Job Description

Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and API's. Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position. Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications. Functions as the lead Web Software Developer.

Job Responsibilities

Analyze software requirements to determine the feasibility of a design within requirement constraints Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Research, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements Participates in development of software user manuals Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database Reviews and develops object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access Projects long-range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function Applies knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end (e.g., COGNOS)/back-end programming languages (e.g., SQL) Performs database programming and supports systems design Job Requirements

Must hold an ACTIVE Public Trust clearance with DHS and/or ICE Must be a U.S. citizen Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance Minimum of seven (7) years of specialized experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units Perform systems analyst duties relating to the evaluation of computer hardware and software Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
