Role Description:
• Build smart data tools using Azure Databricks that help move, clean, and organize data automatically and reliably.• Work with business and tech teams to understand their data needs and design clear plans for how the data should be organized and accessed.• Help experts and project teams spell out exactly what data they need, how they'll use it, and document everything clearly.• Double-check data setups during migrations to make sure information is accurate, consistent, and follows company standards.• Compare old systems to new ones, mapping data step-by-step to ensure it moves smoothly and makes sense on arrival.• Keep teams aligned and in sync so that everyone working on the project hits their goals together.• Plan how to shift existing code and processes into the new system without disruption.• Spot whats missing in current data reports and design a roadmap to fill those gaps in the upgraded system.• Design smart layouts for storing data that make it easy to use for reporting, dashboards, or even machine learning.• Team up with DevOps engineers to make sure the process of updating and launching new data tools is automated and runs smoothly.• Review designs and code with peers to ensure systems run fast, stay reliable, and are built using the best techniques.
