Electro-Mechanical Technician

We currently have an opening for a Electro-Mechanical Technician, for our IMS Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This individual is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of our gas analyzers. This position is based in Houston, TX, reporting to the Production Manager with a focus on the assembly, testing, and final preparation of electro-mechanical analyzers and supporting equipment for shipment.
This is an Operationsposition that will collaborate with the Production Manager and other Operations Staff.
This role plays a critical part in driving our vision to partner with our customers to become their process analytical solutions provider.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble units according to approved drawings and procedures, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
Identify inaccuracies in drawings and procedures and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve issues promptly.
Apply PI values to tasks and responsibilities.
Operational excellence, communication, service- minded, innovation, integrity, collaboration.
Test units thoroughly after final assembly to verify functionality and performance.
Assist in the development and improvement of assembly procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and productivity.
Collaborate with other members of the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned, including but not limited to inventory management, material handling, and facility maintenance.
Apply equal amounts of skills and dedication to all other duties as assigned.
Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, actively identifying potential hazards, and promoting a culture of safety among the team.

Qualifying Attributes and Skills:
Associate’s degree in a related technical field or 4-6 years relevant work experience.
Experience in mechanical assembly with excellent manual dexterity.
Ability to perform routine work in a fast-paced, team environment under tight deadlines.
Ability to multi-task.
Must have excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously with little or no direction; self-managed.
Willingness to assist with tasks, even when the work is out of the scope of responsibilities.
Less than 10% travel requirement.
Some Epicor, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams experience is but not required.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull 25–50 pounds.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be able to work unsupervised and have initiative to follow through on commitments with team and management.
