JOB TITLE: Coating Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
DEPARTMENT: Coating
REPORTING TO: Production Supervisor
PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:
Associate will be knowledgeable in the preparation of PCB's and assemblies for conformal coating, thorough understanding of machine operation, material mixing, application and quality requirements.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Set-up, operate and perform routine maintenance of conformal coating equipment. Preparation of PCB's and assemblies for conformal coating Mixing of coating material Operation and set-up of both automated and manual conformal coating Perform conformal coating inspection and touch-up as required, responsible for quality of product produced from coating machine Reliably produce quality workmanship consistent with IPC or equivalent standards. Pass IPC certification for CIS including all Libra required modules. Able to follow written instructions and provide feedback. Cleaning and housekeeping in accordance with requirements Perform other tasks as assigned within the qualifications and training received. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School diploma or GED Previous work experience where attention to detail was a primary job requirement SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification Basic knowledge of Windows based computers, MS Word and Excel Minimum one year electronic manufacturing experience WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position will work in both front and shop environments. In the shop, you will be exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, machines, and material handling vehicles. PPE is required in this shop area. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to have good hearing and sight. You will need to be able to walk the shop floor and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
