Our client, a prestigious leader in the Construction industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated transitioning service member to join their rapidly expanding team as a Quality Control Inspector.

You will be primarily responsible for the planning and conducting activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.
The QA/QC Inspector will represent the company and its subcontractors for pipe and equipment installation, welding inspection and oversight of subcontractor installation and quality.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Seeking at least 5 years of experience in Quality Control with a minimum of 3 years focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, and/or other similar fields. Current certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and /or ICC Mechanical - Commercial Certification preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
