Pay rate:- $75/hr - $80/hr on W2
About the Role As a
Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
on the Infrastructure Platform Engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design, architecture, development, and operations of Client Experiences' core infrastructure platforms. Think of yourself as a
Jedi Master -balancing deep technical skill, architectural foresight, and operational excellence to deliver reliable, scalable platforms across
AWS, Azure, and GCP . These platforms are foundational to application delivery, enabling rapid deployment and dependable service for both internal teams and Client's global audience. Your mission is to navigate complex systems challenges and ensure seamless operations throughout the entire lifecycle-from initial design to decommissioning.
What You Will Do Lead the
design, implementation, and support
of container orchestration solutions, including
Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE)
and
AWS ECS . Architect and manage
load balancing
technologies with L7 routing, VIP configurations, and performance tuning. Develop and maintain
OS images
(Linux/Windows) including configuration, performance optimization, and monitoring. Write and debug
automation scripts
using Bash, PowerShell, and modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java, Node.js). Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across networking, compute, and storage layers. Develop, maintain, and present
clear technical documentation
and architecture diagrams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
evaluate, prototype, and implement
infrastructure solutions. Engage with stakeholders and customers to gather feedback, improve platform services, and drive adoption. Mentor junior engineers and lead
technical decision-making
for high-impact initiatives. Provide
Level 4 operational support
and work closely with SRE/DevOps teams on escalations and incident response. Key Qualifications Technical Skills:
Expertise with
cloud-native Kubernetes
deployments on at least two major providers: AWS (EKS), Azure (AKS), GCP (GKE). Strong knowledge of
networking protocols
and
cloud networking
(DNS, VPCs, gateways, subnetting, firewalls). Experience deploying and managing
API Gateways , preferably
Apigee , and
Internal Developer Portals (IDPs) . Familiarity with
service mesh architectures , ideally
Istio , across multi-cloud and multi-region environments. Strong scripting and programming skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript). Proficiency in performance monitoring, infrastructure tuning, and automation using CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with
infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
and DevOps tools. Professional Skills:
5-8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or SRE roles supporting cloud-based systems. 1-3 years of experience leading projects or technical teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Inclusive leadership approach and ability to mentor and influence in a matrixed organization. Demonstrated experience in
Agile/Scrum
software development lifecycle. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. Ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences, including executives and operational teams.
