Summary/Objective:
Indiana Members Credit Union is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Finance & Business Intelligence Analyst
to join our dynamic team. This in-person role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial services, accounting, or finance, who is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights. You will play a key role in analyzing financial performance, member behavior, and operational efficiency to support strategic decision-making and enhance member value.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Essential functions

Collect, analyze and interpret financial and operational data to support business decisions. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that highlight key financial and performance metrics. Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure alignment of BI reporting with financial reporting standards. Conduct trend analysis on member behavior, financial performance, and market conditions. Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation processes. Utilize tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, and Excel to perform advanced data analysis and reporting. Recommend and implement data-driven process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives with data insights. Work environment
This is an in-office position based in Indianapolis, IN. Physical demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 15 pounds. Travel required
Minimal travel required; occasional local travel for meetings or training may be necessary. Required education and experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a financial institution or in a finance/accounting role. Proficiency in Power BI, SQL Server, and Excel for data analysis and visualization. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business intelligence concepts. Experience designing and building dashboards and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred:
Experience with statistical methods, forecasting, and predictive analytics. Previous credit union experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
