SCOPE OF SERVICES
We are seeking a skilled Web Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft IIS, application deployment, and troubleshooting public-facing web environments. The ideal candidate will lead the installation, configuration, and support of IIS servers and will ensure the high availability, performance, and security of web applications. This role requires experience in implementing authentication mechanisms and working with CI/CD pipelines in complex enterprise environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft IIS web servers in enterprise and internet-facing environments. Monitor and troubleshoot web applications to ensure performance, uptime, and security. Implement and maintain authentication mechanisms such as Windows Authentication, OAuth, or SAML. Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to support seamless application deployment and updates. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure web services are compliant and performant. Apply patches and updates to IIS and related components to maintain system integrity. Perform root cause analysis and resolution of web server issues. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered
7+ years of hands-on experience as a Web Administrator or similar role. Deep expertise in Microsoft IIS configuration, administration, and tuning. Experience supporting public-facing web applications and resolving complex issues. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting authentication methods. Hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Strong knowledge of databases including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams. DESIRABLE SKILLS
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python). Familiarity with Azure or other cloud-hosted web environments. Understanding of web application firewalls (WAF), load balancers, and reverse proxies.
