Description
The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer to support the Insider Threat Program (ITP) under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) HEITS Contract. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to leverage your extensive experience to enhance the network infrastructure of the ITP, which plays a vital role in safeguarding the homeland by identifying insider threats through advanced analytics and monitoring.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintain and support the ITP network infrastructure, perform routine maintenance, provide recommendations for upgrades, and manage system capacity effectively.
Oversee the High Speed Guard Cross Domain solution, facilitating secure data transfers between various classification domains.
Document and capture the configuration baseline thoroughly to ensure best practices.
Develop and support system recapitalization plans to address capacity growth and customer-driven changes.
Act as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the ITP network infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses, and reports.
Experience preparing and delivering presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Solid understanding of defense-in-depth principles, network security architecture, network topology, IT device integrity, and common security measures.
An active Top Secret government security clearance with the ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Over 10 years of experience in IT service delivery management.
Expertise with User Activity Monitoring products and platforms.
Familiarity with the Everfox High Speed Guard Platform.
Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper LAN/WAN network infrastructures.
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
