Cooper Auto Group is accepting applications for a full time driver at it's brand new Pro-Elite Commercial Fleet Center in Edmond, OK.
We are seeking a dependable and professional Commercial Fleet Driver to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the safe and timely transport, delivery, and pickup of vehicles and fleet units for customers, vendors, and internal departments. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, safety-conscious, and have a strong understanding of commercial vehicle operations. Candidates must have a positive attitude and must be able to safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces. Previous experience not required.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport commercial vehicles to and from customers, service centers, vendors, and dealerships.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues.
Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records, including mileage logs and vehicle condition reports.
Ensure cleanliness and professional appearance of fleet vehicles before customer delivery.
Communicate with dispatchers, service advisors, and fleet coordinators to meet delivery schedules.
Assist with fleet inventory movements and organization on the lot.
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions with clients and partners.
Helps maintain lot and shop appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record. Experience driving commercial fleet vehicles a plus.
Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces
Highly professional and dependable
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic computer and internet skills
