Overview
Ground Support Labs is seeking a highly experienced and organized
Program Manager
to lead the end-to-end coordination of a large-scale digital signage rollout across hundreds of retail locations. This role is responsible for aligning cross-functional teams, managing multiple concurrent workstreams, overseeing vendor coordination, and ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, and budget.
The Program Manager will act as the central owner of the program lifecycle—providing leadership across survey, staging, installation, and support phases. This role requires expertise in managing AV or digital signage projects, high-volume deployments, logistics-heavy environments, and retail technology rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight
·
Own and manage the full program plan, integrating timelines, milestones, and dependencies across all workstreams (site survey, installation, logistics, QA, and support)
·
Monitor performance against KPIs, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
·
Lead weekly cross-functional meetings to assess progress and resolve blockers
·
Proactively identify risks, maintain a mitigation strategy, and adjust timelines and resources as needed
·
Oversee change control, issue escalation, and corrective action plans
·
Oversee full lifecycle of retail deployment and technology rollout efforts across hundreds of locations over multiple years
Stakeholder and Team Coordination
·
Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and client stakeholders
·
Prepare and present regular executive updates, including program status, risks, and financials
·
Coordinate with Project Managers, Logistics Leads, Warehouse teams, Technicians, and Customer Success
·
Align internal resource planning with overall program cadence
·
Hire, onboard, and oversee project team members as needed to support rollout scale and scheduling
Process Leadership
·
Develop, implement, and refine program workflows to improve speed, quality, and consistency
·
Ensure adherence to SOPs for survey execution, staging, installation, and handoff
·
Drive post-mortem reviews and apply lessons learned to ongoing phases
·
Manage deployment and fleet standardization operations in a scalable way
Budget & Reporting
·
Track program-level budget and ensure accuracy in forecasting labor, materials, and logistics costs
·
Collaborate with Finance to reconcile invoices, track spend, and report financial health
·
Monitor vendor deliverables and contract compliance
Qualifications
·
5+ years of experience in program management with multi-site deployment or AV/IT project environments
·
Strong experience managing timelines, logistics, vendors, and cross-functional teams
·
Demonstrated experience with fleet deployment and long-term project rollouts across numerous locations
·
Proven ability to manage large budgets and complex delivery timelines
·
Skilled in Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, or other project management platforms
·
Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and data-driven decision making
·
Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting
·
PMP or PgMP certification
·
Experience with digital signage, audio visual, construction, or retail technology deployments a strong plus
· Ability to travel up to 20% within the state to support active field phases
