Job Summary:
The Assembler I builds sub-assemblies needed for seat production. This role is assigned tasks to be performed within prescribed cycle/budget time while maintaining ZACS standards of quality. Employee will function as a key member of the team on the production line, sometimes with limited supervision.
Essential Job Duties: Read and follow work instructions to position, install, and assemble parts and subassemblies; use templates (as required) on all seat product lines. Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. Access computer systems, pull and follow assembly instructions, drawings, part lists, wire lists and diagrams. Must be able to follow verbal instructions. Complete all required paperwork and part documentation. Utilize small hand tools such as crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, cutters of various types, and other standard wiring and assembly tools. Comply with safety and company policies (i.e., use protective equipment) Secondary Duties:

Job Qualifications:
Minimum:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Basic computer skills Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language Must have ability to read and comprehend blueprints, work instructions, and other technical data Must possess good interpersonal skills with strong desire to work in a teamwork environment Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in various units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Preferred:
One (1) year work experience in a complex assembly environment Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift 50 lbs. Subject to continual loud noises Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time; climb steps, ladders and/or service stands Must be able to safely work around hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins, and adhesives
