Job Description Overview - Based on the Image Quality evaluation protocol that has been internally established, capture photo/video contents with the commercial devices as well as the test devices under development. The photo/video include the camera lab test scenes and real-life test scenes. - Run the analysis tools with the captured photo/video contents to generate the analysis data. The analysis tools are generally coded in MATLAB and/or Python. - Manage the database for various Image Quality area (texture/noise, color, HDR, exposure, zoom, bokeh, video, stabilization) - Manage the devices in Android OS for content capture with Android Debug Bridge (adb) (optional) Develop the tools (coding in MATLAB/Python) for the database management - filename and folder management for multiple devices.

Camera lab Maintenance - Maintain camera IQ evaluation labs in San Diego campus for camera system team and other associated teams, facilitating the camera groups including design, development, and validation teams for their efficient data collection

(optional) IQ Evaluation Protocol Development Support - Develop the tools (coding in MATLAB/Python) for the extensive IQ analysis and support the IQ analysis activities for IQ evaluation protocol development on various camera IQ areas including texture/noise, color, HDR, exposure, zoom, bokeh, segmentation, video, stabilization - With good understanding on the Camera IQ characteristics, participate the activities to define and develop the photo/video evaluation scenarios for various Camera IQ areas, including lab test setup and real-life test scenes. - The activities for IQ Evaluation Protocol Development Support also include handling the Image/video tools such as photoshop and ffmpeg and building up the database with training data set (image/video and their annotation) for Client networks
