Our client is seeking a
DSP Software Engineer
with proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for DSP and SIGINT systems. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of software development, signal processing, and communication systems, coupled with hands-on experience in programming languages like Fortran, C, C++, Python, and Java. A strong foundation in Linux and GUI technologies is essential.
An active TS/SCI clearance is required
for consideration.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, test, analyze, and debug software for DSP/SIGINT systems. Create and refine advanced signal processing algorithms and techniques. Utilize programming languages such as Fortran, C, C++, Python, and Java for software development. Employ tools like
X-Midas
(preferred) and
MATLAB
for DSP system development. Operate across various platforms, including Linux, Windows, Solaris, Digital Unix, and VMS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions. Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience : At least 5 years of professional experience in DSP/SIGINT systems development. Proficiency in
Linux ,
Java ,
MATLAB ,
C , and DSP assembly languages (C/C++/Fortran highly desired). Hands-on experience in developing and testing communications or SIGINT systems. Preferred Qualifications
Education : Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Deep knowledge of communication systems theory, including analog and digital modulation/demodulation. Advanced expertise in signal processing algorithms and techniques. Proficiency in
X-Midas
(highly desired) and MATLAB. Strong background in algorithm development and software creation for communications or SIGINT systems. Compensation and Benefits
