The George E. Booth Co. is a family-owned andoperated industrial automation sales company looking to hire a full-time ITManager at our Greenwood location.

The George E. Booth Co. is a major distributor ofprocess instrumentation products, controls, and related services to customersin Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee. Founded in 1963,George E. Booth Sr. recognized that there would be a natural evolution in thedevelopment of products for the industrial instrumentation process field.

Aboutthe Role:

Areyou a dynamic IT leader ready to drive innovation and operational excellence?We're seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage ourInformation Technology Department. You'll oversee two high-impact teams: onededicated to software development and strategic IT projects, and anotherfocused on delivering top-tier technical support and helpdesk services. Yourleadership will ensure our IT systems are secure, efficient, and perfectlyaligned with our company's goals.

KeyResponsibilities:

Leadership& Team Management

Supervise and mentor both the software development/IT projectsteam and the helpdesk team. Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture. Ensure successful project execution and alignment with companyobjectives. StrategicIT Projects

Collaborate with company leadership to identify, plan, and executetechnology initiatives that drive efficiency, security, and competitiveadvantage. Manage and prioritize IT projects, including software development,system upgrades, and process automation. Helpdesk& Technical Support

Oversee the helpdesk function, ensuring exceptional end-usersupport and rapid issue resolution. Maintain a reliable and secure IT environment for all users. Infrastructure& Security

Maintain IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud-basedservices) in line with security and compliance standards. Implement and uphold cybersecurity practices to protect companydata and systems. Vendor& Budget Management

Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services andequipment. Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectivesolutions. Documentation& Training

Ensure thorough documentation of systems, processes, andprocedures. Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and bestpractices. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, ora related field. Proven experience in IT management or leadership roles, includingsoftware development and helpdesk support. Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, andsecurity best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines,and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translatetechnical concepts for users and stakeholders. Preferred

Experience with cloud-based solutions and cybersecurityframeworks. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, MicrosoftCertified: Azure Administrator, etc.). WhyJoin Us?
