Position Description
We are seeking an experienced
Cyber Architect
to support cybersecurity efforts by architecting, designing, and implementing advanced cybersecurity solutions. The Cyber Architect will guide technical cybersecurity strategies, assess system vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cybersecurity architectures and frameworks Conduct security assessments and provide mitigation strategies Collaborate with engineering teams on secure system designs Integrate advanced cybersecurity capabilities into existing mission systems Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity teams Occasional travel up to 15% to support customers Qualifications Required (Skills):
Bachelors degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a cybersecurity architecture role Expert knowledge of cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices Proven experience with secure system design, threat modeling, and risk management Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption Current IAM Level III certification (per DoD 8140) An active
TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE , for which you must be a U.S. Citizen (required) Excellent analytical, organizational, oral, written, and interpersonal skills Qualifications Desired:
Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure) Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of DevSecOps practices Experience supporting DoD and Space Force cybersecurity initiatives
