PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a

Cable Harness Assembler

to join our team supporting a leading aerospace and defense program in

Orlando, FL . In this role, you'll build and assemble complex wiring harnesses used in mission-critical military and aerospace systems. You'll be working from wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical engineering instructions to ensure compliance with IPC standards and rigorous quality requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

1-2 years of experience building cable harnesses in an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment Strong proficiency with

IPC-WHMA-A-620 Class 3 standards Ability to read and interpret

engineering schematics and wiring diagrams Experience with

soldering, crimping, torquing backshells, and connector assembly Skilled in using hand tools, jigs, and power tools for precision cable assembly Familiarity with conducting continuity checks and quality inspections during assembly Preferred Skills:

Experience with

IPC-A-610

and

IPC J-STD soldering standards Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and form board layouts Prior work in a prototype or low-rate initial production (LRIP) environment Understanding of ESD handling and cleanroom protocols Job Duties Include:

Assembling and routing cable harnesses using detailed engineering drawings and mechanical work instructions Performing hand soldering, crimping, and connector pin insertion Working with form boards and torque tools to meet exacting build specifications Conducting in-process and final continuity checks for electrical performance Modifying, repairing, or reworking assemblies as needed per engineering changes Supporting first article builds, quality inspections, and rework procedures when required Shift Information:

This is a full-time, on-site position in
