IT Security Engineer - Senior This is a contract opportunity with potential to extend or convert. This is a fully remote role, with occasional on-site support in the MA area preferred.
About this position
We're hiring a Senior IT Security Engineer to support our Loss Prevention IT team, with a focus on physical security systems. You will lead technical design and implementation of access control and CCTV solutions across a global enterprise environment.
Job Responsibilities Design and deploy access control and CCTV systems, including software and hardware Manage virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud) Configure and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures Ensure system integration with security platforms (e.g., Genetec) Provide ongoing technical support and documentation Skills/Requirements
8+ years of experience in security systems installation and programming Proficient with Genetec, Axis, Hanwha, DMP, Bosch systems Genetec certifications required Familiar with TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and network security Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies Additional Information
Contract role with conversion potential Fully remote with occasional MA-based site visits
Pay Range
Pay Range: $65-$75/hour
