We offer deep sector expertise across a full range of products and services in investment banking, equities, fixed income, asset and wealth management in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East and Asia.Position:The Risk Technology group builds and supports a global risk platform enabling the Risk Management group to oversee all areas of risk across the Firm. The risk platform provides capabilities for measuring, quantifying, analyzing, reporting, and controlling exposures across market and counterparty credit risk. The position is for a Senior Technical Project Manager who will be part of Risk Technology team. The project manager will play a key role in overseeing, streamlining, and administering the project portfolio and operations of the Risk Technology department. Primary Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale risk platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with engineering teams to manage the development of risk analytics, data modeling, and reporting systems. Partner with Risk Management stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming in coordination with product owners and scrum teams. Manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and communication. Oversee technical documentation, testing strategies, and deployment planning in collaboration with QA and DevOps teams. Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement of project delivery processes. Administer projects portfolio, including budget tracking, project tracking, and issue escalationEssential Experience/ Skills: 10+ experience managing technical software projects involving cross-functional teams and technologies within financial services domain Significant expertise in Agile based software development project planning and software development lifecycles Strong understanding of data platforms, including SQL, data modeling, and cloud-based data storage (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, AWS Redshift). Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems, preferably on AWS. Proficiency with Agile tools and SDLC workflows (e.g., Jira, Git, Bamboo). Experience managing budgets for software projects Familiarity with financial risk domain, either market risk or counterparty credit risk Experience developing custom reports and dashboards using SQL, Jira, Excel, and PowerPoint Bachelor's degree, in computer science, engineering, or related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
