This role requires a professional with strong technical acumen in PHP development and hands-on experience in debugging, maintaining, and supporting critical business applications in a fast-paced environment. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure PHP-based web applications. • Provide Level 2/3 support for business-critical applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product) for issue resolution and system enhancements. • Monitor logs, system health, and performance metrics to proactively address potential issues. • Perform root cause analysis and create documentation for recurring incidents. • Assist in release management, patch updates, and system upgrades. • Mentor junior developers and support engineers when necessary. ⸻ Required Skills: • 8+ years of experience in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Core PHP). • Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS. • Proficient in front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery. • Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and system integrations. • Experience in application support, production troubleshooting, and incident handling. • Familiarity with Linux environments, Apache/Nginx servers, and basic shell scripting. • Proficient in using tools like JIRA, Git, ServiceNow, or similar. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ⸻ Nice-to-Have: • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). • Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based environments. • Prior experience in customer support or client-facing roles. ⸻ Soft Skills: • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Collaborative mindset and willingness to support other teams.
