Oracle DBA Exadata
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills • Ideally Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) with more than 5 years experience with Oracle 19c. • Good knowledge and experience in Exadata migration. • Operating system experience in Linux. Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump). • Sound Practical Knowledge in Data guard, RMAN , Data Pump • Knowledge of Exadata compute and cell node • Architecture design principles. • Good Knowledge in Performance Tuning • Good problem solver focused and dedicated developer with ability to work on your own as well as with a team. • Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment (11gR2). • Strong practical knowledge in ASM storage. • Maintain our SQL / PLSQL query and work closely with the application team. • Ensure DB availability. • Support and collaborate with product developers. • Create a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriate. Executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality. • Determine and document DB policies, procedures, and standards. • Performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity. Identification of bottle necks and deadlock issues • Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail. • Experience with an organization with a key reliance on 24x7 reliability on its database.
Roles & Responsibilities • Oracle Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu build/delivery • Support server, storage and database migration activities • Assist team with root cause analysis for major incidents. • Hands-on in shell, perl scripts knowledge in Python will be added advantage • Knowledge on continuous security OS patching and validation • Ensure all solutions and recommended solutions are consistent IT standards and best practices • Engineering initiatives that bring greater transparency and resiliency to core infrastructure You should be able to document and articulate changes to standard build procedures. • Ensure all solutions and recommended solutions are consistent IT standards and best practices • Deploy and sustain back tier infrastructure and engineering standards
Salary Range- $100,000-$105,000 a year
