Primary Objectives
Technomic is seeking a Program Manager who will deliver superior project planning and execution of one of our programs. You will initiate, plan and execute highly visible programs (such as industry conferences) while working with key internal and external stakeholders. You will also oversee the execution of associated program deliverables (e.g., reports and webinars) that occur throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be able to build a rapport with senior leadership and program members to better perform the responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end management of program deliverables, including reports, live conferences and webinars
Ensure that both the program deliverables and client communications (including live and virtual event registrations) follow timelines, and all project details are addressed throughout all project phases
Develop strong partnerships with external and internal key stakeholders (including advisory, accounting, sales, marketing and design)
Alert management of issues while making recommendations for suitable and creative solutions
Respond appropriately to staff and member questions and requests in a timely manner
Track key performance indicators related to the program and provide feedback and recommendations for continued performance improvement
Oversee all aspects of planning and executing our virtual and in-person events, including registration communication, conference agendas, kickoff and wrap-up meetings, content development and guest speaker recruitment
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery
Lead innovation sessions and present strategic insights to senior leadership
Manage the day-to-day tasks of a support staff member, mentoring and shaping career development
Remain knowledgeable of foodservice industry macro trends
Qualifications: Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated experience leading project timelines involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and executing with a high level of quality
Experience organizing and executing live conferences and virtual events (including event registration, speaker recruitment, hotel contracts for events, etc.)
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally (including with both senior and junior staff and event vendors), to achieve Technomic’s program goals
Competency to resolve problems, prioritize and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness
Exhibits stellar multitasking, organization and communication (written and verbal) skills, quality of task execution
Dependable, highly motivated, collaborative and team-oriented with a strong sense of business acumen
Competency with Microsoft office tools
Requirements
3-5 years of demonstrated event or project management experience
3-5 years of demonstrated marketing experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Familiarity with event planning and execution
Marketo and BigMarker experience a plus
Experience or interest in staff management
Interest in the foodservice industry is preferred
Ability to travel up 5% -10% of the time for industry conferences

The salary range for this role is 75k-85k depending on experience. _
