Senior Cyber Security Analyst

to work with a large enterprise in Columbia, SC to lead advanced threat detection, security assessments, and enterprise security initiatives. In this role, you'll protect critical systems and data while shaping the organization's overall security posture. What you'll do:

Lead security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and advanced threat hunting. Anticipate and mitigate potential cyber threats by identifying system vulnerabilities and implementing preventive measures. Monitor and analyze escalated security events, providing expert-level incident response and guidance to junior analysts. Develop and implement enterprise-wide security architectures, solutions, and tools to strengthen defenses. Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and tuning of security tools. Evaluate and recommend procedures, products, and best practices for preventing, detecting, and responding to security breaches. Collaborate with internal teams, management, and external partners to enhance security across the organization. Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience in cybersecurity, with expertise in network security, intrusion detection, and incident response. Proven experience performing penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and threat analysis. Advanced knowledge of enterprise data architecture, systems engineering, and security risks across multiple platforms. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to troubleshoot multi-vendor security issues. Experience with IT security tools (software and hardware) for monitoring, detection, and prevention. Skilled in threat analysis, risk management, business continuity, and configuration management. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure. .
