Job Description

You are an experienced

Project Manager

with a minimum of 3-5 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.

25% travel to various job sites and must live close to a Hub Airport

Specific job expectations:

Lead site feasibility assessments, including performing technical review and management of 3rd party contractors, to support the deployment of EV charging deployment.

Develop and maintain design standards for EV charger deployment by jurisdiction including relevant building codes and internal design requirements.

Delivery of SMART outcomes, including zero HSSE incidents, below target cost for installation per site per charge points, and successful commission of sites required by plan

Responsibilities:

Manage client teams, including architects, engineers and supply chain to deliver compliant projects

Can analyze, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.

Work closely with program manager and commercial teams to contribute to the success of the project and raise concerns/ask for support early.

Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required

Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly

Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews

Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications

Forecast and update key project milestones

Develop and own the risk management process.

Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders

Rapid response to RFIs from the field

Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required

Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers

Client management - assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities

Strategic Thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients' objectives and business objectives

Knowledge management - ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured

Process improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes

Contribute to annual budgets and planning

Travel - to various job sites around Houston, Texas

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture

Construction / Project Management Professional certification

OSHA-10

Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week

Strong organizational and management skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team

Strong verbal and written communication

Effective presentation skills

Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required

The candidate should have experience working on Oil and Gas corporate RE facilities

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is

$125K-$150

per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. ?Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
