PlanIT Group is seeking a Network (Two-Factor Authentication) Administrator II to support our Federal customer in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to Telecommunications services to include various initiatives and projects such as WAN, LAN, VPN, Wiring LAN Infrastructures, and Wireless Environment, etc. You will join the team and perform data analysis, capture and review of metrics and provide reports to management.

Summary The Network Connectivity Platform (NCP) Team provides network technologies and infrastructure ensuring always on, always available systems to our employees, customers, and 32K sites. Customer requires the supplier to augment the team and work with stake holders administer and troubleshoot the Remote access two-factor authentication team. They will ensure proper implementation and maintenance of the remote access 2FA solution to bolster access control and safeguard sensitive information from unauthorized access attempts.

Description: Responsible for daily administration of a network/server environment. Installs, configures, and maintains system software. Monitors network performance, troubleshoots more complex issues and deploys solutions. Plans and implements upgrades, patches, and installation of new applications and equipment. Creates and maintains disaster recovery, security and backup and restore plan and policy. May conduct evaluation of new technologies to optimize network efficiency and performance. Requires a bachelor's degree.

Duties and Responsibilities: 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator (2FA), responsibilities include but are not limited to the following activities: • Administer Two Factor authentication platform - ENTRUST • Configure, administer, document policies for Remote access authentication • Manage and troubleshoot Remote access solutions such as VPN and SDWAN • High level troubleshooting of network and application issues as related to remote access • Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.

Activities will include: •

2FA Implementation:

Deploy and configure Two-Factor Authentication solutions for various systems, applications, and network resources to strengthen access controls and authentication mechanisms. •

User Management:

Manage user profiles, authentication methods, enrollment processes, and access policies related to Two-Factor Authentication to ensure secure user access. •

Incident Response:

Monitor 2FA logs, analyze authentication data, investigate suspicious activities, and respond to security incidents related to unauthorized access attempts or unusual authentication patterns. •

Certificate Lifecycle Management:

Monitor certificate expiration dates, renewals, revocations, and updates to ensure continuous validity and security compliance. • Monitor and maintain remote access solutions such as VPN, routers, and switches.

Required Skills: • Familiarity with Entrust products, including Two-Factor Authentication solutions, certificate management, and encryption technologies. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate email systems with other applications and platforms. • Excellent communication skills to provide technical support and guidance to end-users. • Proven ability to multi-task • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service • Manages time effectively • Creative thinking skills • Detail-oriented personality • Ability to maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers

Desired Skills: • Entrust tool set • Proven experience as a two-factor administrator or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment. • Network fundamentals: Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, routing, and switching. • Familiar with Cisco ISE for policy and user management. • Proficient with application layer protocols - HTTP, SSH, SSL, etc. porting large networks.

Education: A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' relevant experience. o A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required.

Additional Provisions: • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance • Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. • All candidates must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. • Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years. • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years.
