Who we are

The Sch oo l of En gineering Medicine in collaboration with Texas A&M College of Engineering, Texas A&M Sch oo l of Medicine and the state’s top-ranked Hou ston Methodist Hospital offer an innovative medical sch oo l program called ENMED . This program was established to transform healthcare through translational interdisciplinary research, the development of medical technologies, and the development and training of “ Physicianeers .” ENMED delivers a revolutionary blended curriculum with focus on innovation and entrepreneurship where students receive a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Engineering degree in the same four years.

What we want

The Program Coordinator II, under general supervision of the Director for Enrollment and Academic Services, works collaboratively with leadership to plan, develop, and coordinate the delivery and organization of courses within the School of Engineering Medicine’s EnMed program.

Salary: $4,812/monthly

Qualifications

Required Education and experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Four years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in higher education, business administration, management or related field.

Professional experience in higher education

Experience with Canvas learning management system.

Knowledge of TAMUS Policies and Regulations and Teas A&M University Rules

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in Teams, Microsoft Suite, AggieBuy.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Attention to detail

Responsibilities

Course Coordination

Coordinates all course information and scheduling for assigned courses.

This includes arranging room reservations/schedules, arranging and setting up Zoom sessions (both virtual and in-person), examination coordination and proctoring.

Coordinates guest lecturers, course calendars, and schedules.

Track attendance.

Maintain the learning management system (Canvas)

Update and post materials and monitors the gradebook in the learning management system

Monitor course materials for ADA compliance.

Coordinates with internal and external partners for academic support related to multiple course sessions

Administrative support

Coordinates and provides advanced administrative support for curricular meetings associated with courses.

Prepares reports on program activities.

Develops and updates training materials and delivers training.

Provides general support for faculty within assigned courses.

Oversees daily fiscal and purchasing activities.

Orders supplies for assigned courses, as needed.

Develops and directs special tasks and projects as needed with little or no supervision from the director and/or assistant dean for program evaluation and assessment.

Policies & Procedures

Maintains strict confidentiality with regards to student records in accordance with FERPA regulations.

Ensure adherence to all ENMED policies and procedures

Assists in establishing goals, objectives, policies and procedures.

Communication and Team Cooperation

Communicates program policies and procedures through effective written and oral communication.

Acts as the liaison to faculty, students, and staff for course questions/concerns, course content clarification, and communicates with course instructors on an on-going basis.

Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders.

Organizes and disseminates information related to the assigned courses
