Job Summary: The
Ascension Technologies Technology Assessment (TA)
is a vital process designed to ensure all vendor technology solutions align with Ascension's architecture, infrastructure, technical, and security standards. TA is conducted in collaboration with CyberSecurity, Market Technology, Enterprise Applications & Platforms, and The Resource Group (TRG), prior to the acquisition or integration of new products and services.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate and manage Technology Assessment (TA) compliance and daily operations. Validate completeness of vendor technical documentation. Summarize technical findings from infrastructure and security reviews for stakeholders. Troubleshoot issues independently and share solutions across the team. Reach out to end users and leadership for missing documents or information. Follow defined process documentation and operational procedures. Use and administer business applications; recommend workflow enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with basic IT functions (e.g., server/client relationships, operating systems, databases, security concepts, server/desktop applications). Experience with ServiceNow - navigating and modifying forms. Proficiency in Google Sheets - navigating and maintaining sheets. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Preferred:
Prior experience or knowledge of Technology Assessments.
