Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Offboard Software Engineer with 5-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management using Microsoft Access and familiarity with software development and data automation tools. You will play a key role in managing application and calibration data for diagnostic tools, enhancing service simulation applications, and maintaining internal process tools and documentation.
Top Technical Skills Required: Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Access , including experience with the
Query Designer Proficiency in
SQL Working knowledge of at least one high-level programming language (e.g.,
C#, C++, VB.Net, Java, Rust ) Proficiency in
Excel macros and formulas
Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and test software for embedded systems and service tool applications. Manage application data, calibration data, and service procedures for multiple product releases (e.g., 2026A, 2026B, 2026C). Develop service tool simulation applications as time permits. Perform validation and troubleshoot errata in collaboration with engineers and stakeholders. Maintain and improve internal tools and documentation related to data configuration and processing. Process 10-15 configuration changes per day for upcoming software releases. Ensure clear documentation and communication of changes in internal tracking systems. Technical Competencies:

Quiet, focused work environment is preferred to support high-volume, detail-oriented tasks. Occasional collaboration with senior engineers and internal application stakeholders.
