The Licensed Practical Nurse will:Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants according to the facilities policies, procedures and standards.Monitor residents and complete required record keeping; chart and document per facility policy.Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration functions which adhere to state and federal regulations and facility policies.Communicate to residents, families and co-workers in an effective and respectful manner.Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians and co-workers. Nurses must have the following:Active Illinois nursing licenseAbility to work every other weekendCompassionate and Caring attitudeTime Management skillsKnowledge of Point Click Care preferred, but not requiredCompliant with the Health Care Worker Background Check requirements with respect to criminal history.
