Position Summary

We are seeking a logic-driven, yet creative Business Systems Analyst to provide tactical business analysis services to internal business partners needing technical solution identification and implementation by IT. This role requires a practical understanding of software development, system integration, and cloud-based architecture, particularly in environments built with .NET, Azure, ReactJS, and SQL Server. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as advocate and "translator" between the business and technical stakeholders during development and quality assurance (QA) testing, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the business stakeholders, when needed, and otherwise ensure that the solution delivered meets the business requirements and resolves the problem. This person must also have confidence to communicate their ideas and viewpoints to management.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders, system end-users, and engineering teams to understand problems and feature/function requests, and document requirements and current state process flows Analyze requirements and process flows to propose effective solutions that address business needs and improve process efficiency Translate approved updates into user stories and future state process flows Work with UI/UX to ensure wireframes align with stories and meet usability and accessibility standards Work closely with developers and QA to ensure stories are well understood, implemented correctly, and meet the definition of done Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and act as a liaison between them and IT Develop and maintain a working knowledge of upstream and downstream company operations relevant to the supported systems Experience and Competencies

Minimum Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Business, Systems, or Process Analyst within software development or IT Proven ability to elicit requirements and translate them into clear, concise yet thoroughly thought through user stories and acceptance criteria Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills The ability to handle concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly in Agile/Scrum or Blended (with Waterfall) settings Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Teams, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, etc. Highly Desired

Courage to "own" the success of the assigned task or project and take appropriate initiative to ensure it Experience with proprietary SaaS implementations of business systems Experience with integrated business systems
