Network Engineer
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Hampton, VA. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks. Responsibilities for the Network Engineer: Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network problems. Provides network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance. Determines network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. May provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced systems engineers. Comprehensive knowledge of network engineering principles, methods, and techniques. Knowledge of Data Center and Virtualization Qualifications of the Network Engineer: 20+ years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an U.S. Government Active Top Secret Clearance Required Skills and Abilities: Must possess a completed CCNA certification. Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access Compensation for the Network Engineer: Salary Range: $190,000 - $235,000+ *flexible based on experience* Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Sick Leave as required by law Unlimited opportunities for growth Opportunity for travel
