Budget and Events Coordinator - CMR/CATS DEPT : School of Mission and Theology HOURS : 20 Hours per Week FT/PT/TEMP : Part-Time EXEMPT STATUS : Non-Exempt REPORTS TO : Program Director for CATS & CMR WORK MODE : On-Campus, Pasadena, CA Brief Description: The Budget and Event Coordinator oversees allocated daily operations related to our budget oversight and event planning for the Center for Advanced Theological Studies (CATS) and the Center for Missiological Research (CMR). The major responsibility of the CMR/CATS Budget and Event Coordinator is the formulation and oversight of program budgets, assisting the PhD Program Director in the administration of CMR and CATS financial aid programs, and the primary support for yearly events such as Welcome Week, intensives, graduation, colloquia, annual lectures, internal and external communications, and long-range planning in partnership with the Program Director as assigned. Essential Functions: Serve as cost center manager as assigned

Prepare and monitor budgets for CATS and CMR

Maintain a file of monthly cost center expenditures

Initiate all necessary stipend payments in connection with internal and external faculty services

Oversee GRI and Visiting Scholars

Initiate payment to other institutions for all services rendered as requested and approved by the Center Associate Deans and Program Director

Obtain approvals for visiting faculty, make contracts with visiting faculty, and process their payment at course completion

Assist faculty to secure proper RA assignments within the established budget

Hire and train RAs

Establish and track the RA budget and approve submitted timecards

Make IIT or Faculty Apprentice agreements with students as needed and disburse stipends

Knowledge and Skills Required: At least 2-3 years experience in an administrative support role

Bachelors degree or equivalent

Experience with budgets and financials a must

Prior experience in related areas of higher education, particularly graduate theological education

Strong functionality with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms

Ability to learn necessary internal systems used for advising, student records, and administration.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Additional Remarks: Must be willing to abide by Fuller Community Standards

This position will primarily be based on the Pasadena campus

Pay Scale: Wage range the seminary expects to pay: $22 - $25 per hour USD
