UX/UI Designer

The UX/UI Designer plays a crucial role in creating and enhancing the overall human experience when interacting with digital products, systems, or services. As a UI/UX designer, your responsibilities encompass all aspects of digital product development, including design, usability, functionality, and sometimes branding and marketing. US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED This position will be based in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL. Your future duties and responsibilities: Responsible for designing, testing, and developing well designed web-based software coding that is testable, and efficient by using best software development practices to meet users needs; recommending software upgrades for current and future systems; as well as translating the User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design wireframes, ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing; and documenting every aspect of the application, service or environment as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree in computer science, design, or a related field. Active Top-Secret clearance. Experience with Atlassian Software products (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, etc.) Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Minimum of 5-8 years' experience Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
