We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced developer to join our team on a project focused on developing and deploying APIs to facilitate the secure and efficient transfer of NICE call recording files to a third-party SaaS vendor (CallMiner). This role involves hands-on Java development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Security, and external partners to ensure seamless data migration, system integration, and collaboration with production support for final handoff. Responsibilities include: Use Gitlab for version control and code review. Design and implement RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Develop integrations to securely transfer NICE call recording files to a SaaS based storage platform. Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and understand file structures, metadata, and retention policies. Ensure all data transfer processes comply with industry standards for security, privacy, and compliance. Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms for all file transfer processes. Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and design decisions. Write system, unit, and integration test plans. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file processing and API reliability. Communicate and coordinate with other developers, testers, and stakeholders. Skills and requirements include: 3-5+ years of experience as a developer using Java, including RESTful APIs. Experience with file system integration, batch processing, and handling large file transfers. Working with SaaS vendors and secure data transmission. Knowledgeable in Spring, Spring Security, Maven (plug-ins), Tomcat and Linux. Experience in working with Oracle/SQL databases and performing data analysis and manipulation. Experience in using code versioning tools such as Git, CI/CD processes or SVN. Experience in writing system, unit, and integration tests. Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, etc). Creative and innovative problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
