Python Data Engineer
to join their high-performing global data team. This full-time role involves developing scalable data ingestion solutions and supporting advanced analytics for traders, analysts, and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
Build reusable Python components to integrate external data sources with internal systems and databases.
Collaborate closely with traders, data scientists, and analysts to gather and translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Maintain a clean, modular Python codebase aligned with internal coding standards.
Contribute to the firm's ETL toolkit and developer tools, helping to standardize core data engineering practices.
Work effectively with a globally distributed team and participate in internal Python development efforts. Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Python and modern data engineering practices.
Experience building modular, reusable ETL pipelines and APIs.
Ability to translate business needs into technical data workflows.
Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
Experience supporting data-driven teams in trading, research, or analytics is a plus.
Compensation: $140,000 - 160,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
