Your responsibilities will include: Designing, implementing, and optimizing ads measurement systemsCollaborating with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, data scientists, machine learning teams, and client teams within AdsAnalyzing large datasets to identify patterns and inform system improvements in ads measurementDeveloping privacy-enduring ads measurement solutionsLeading projects from zero to one, building something from the ground upParticipate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercisesBuild in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor's company cultureWhat You'll Bring To The Team7-10 years demonstrated experience working on distributed systemsProven track record in leading large-scale projects from 0 to 1Effective communication skills and cross-team collaboration abilitiesAds domain expertise and tuned to industry trendsProficiency in problem-solving and attention to detailExperience with large datasets and multiple datastore technologiesStrong coding abilities in at least one language. Python or Kotlin experience preferredGenuine curiosity and a hunger for learningStrong desire to serve local communities and neighbors worldwideEagerness to explore and apply AI and emerging technologies to reimagine how work gets doneBonus PointsPrior experience in conversion modeling or probabilistic attributionFamiliarity with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysisKnowledge of privacy-preserving data analysis methodsRewardsCompensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create our total rewards package. Compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. Compensation may also vary by geography.The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $190,000 to $240,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role.We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date will take place within 3 months of your start date.When it comes to benefits, we have you covered!
