Summary:

Individuals in the job are responsible for assisting Tropical Financial Credit Union in the achievement of its purpose of guiding members successfully through the financial marketplace. The Business Analyst - Integrations Developer is an individual contributor responsible for the design, development, support, and maintenance of integrations between the Credit Union's core banking systems and third-party applications. This position bridges business needs with technical solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency across platforms such as Fiserv DNA, Nautilus (ECM), Q2 Mobile, and other critical systems.

This role supports both IT-led and department-led projects, delivering expertise in application integration, API utilization, and robotic process automation across various computing environments, including client/server, web, mobile, and mainframe platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following:

§ Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations between core banking systems (Fiserv DNA) and third-party applications using APIs, SDKs, web services, and middleware tools.

§ Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to translate them into technical specifications for integration and automation projects.

§ Manage and optimize integration flows and data mappings to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance across all systems.

§ Support and maintain Q2 Mobile App integrations, including implementation and troubleshooting of features and services using RBP and SDK.

§ Maintain and enhance document management system integrations with Nautilus (ECM) and ensure proper workflow routing, indexing, and data synchronization.

§ Develop and maintain reusable scripts and utilities for automation, data transformation, and system monitoring.

§ Collaborate with internal business units and external vendors to align integration solutions with operational goals.

§ Perform regular maintenance and updates for interfaces and data exchange jobs between systems.

§ Administer user access, roles, and security within integrated applications, maintaining compliance and best practices.

§ Monitor and troubleshoot data and system integration issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes.

§ Support the testing, validation, and deployment of application updates, enhancements, and patches that impact integration points.

§ Assist with incident response and resolution in coordination with the Help Desk and other IT support teams.

§ Participate in and contribute to change control processes, ensuring integration-related changes are tested and documented appropriately.

§ Maintain system and integration documentation, including technical specifications, process flows, and support guides.

§ Evaluate new integration technologies and platforms for potential use in the TFCU environment.

§ Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing related to integrated systems and applications.

§ Provide cross-training to IT staff and end-users related to new integration processes and applications.

§ Available for on-call and after-hours support as part of a 24/7 operational environment.

§ Maintains and manages retention of data based on data retention policy.

§ Work flexible hours and be available for on-call and after-hours support (7x24 operations).

§ Provides cross-course training to I.T. Staff.

BSA Compliance

- every employee is required to uphold the credit union's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures. Specific functions within TFCU will take into consideration the awareness of unusual or suspicious activity that is relevant to the department.

o In addition to any other assigned training courses, online BSA and OFAC courses must be completed at least annually, as made available by the Training and/or Compliance Departments.

o Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Identification Program, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, Fair Lending and Credit Card Act.

o Comply with all TFCU policies and procedures to ensure compliance with such regulations.

Education and/or Experience

§ Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

§ 3+ years of experience in systems or integrations development, preferably in a

financial services or banking environment

§ Hands-on experience with Core CU Systems, such as

Fiserv DNA, Nautilus (ECM), and RBP's, Mobile SDKs/APIs.

§ Proficiency in integration protocols and technologies such as

REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, SFTP, message queues

,

and middleware platforms.

§ Experience with scripting and automation languages (e.g.,

PowerShell, Python

, or JavaScript).

§ Strong understanding of

data structures

, ETL processes,

and secure data handling practices.

§ Demonstrated experience managing the full lifecycle of integrations from concept through deployment and ongoing support.

§ Project Management Experience preferred

§ Must be able to learn and understand the technical environment and applications quickly and keep up to date on new methodologies related to Integration.

§ Experience in the financial services industry or in a production/service environment like that of the employer is preferred

§ Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications

§ General knowledge or exposure to Credit Union technology such as Item Processing, Interactive Voice Response systems, Internet Banking, or ATM Deployment

§ Possess general knowledge or exposure to relational databases and database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, HP Eloquence)
