Electro-Mechanical Assemblers
for a
12-month contract
position in Archbald, Pennsylvania. As a subcontractor supporting a major aerospace and defense program, this role is ideal for candidates with experience in cable assembly, wiring, and soldering for precision assemblies. You will work from diagrams, schematics, and drawings to complete both repetitive and non-repetitive tasks across complex mechanical and electronic subassemblies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Prior experience with wiring and cable assembly Proficient in soldering and working with electronic circuits Comfortable working from diagrams, schematics, and operations sheets Basic understanding of electrical systems U.S. Citizenship required (due to defense program requirements) Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or relevant certification Background in electrical or mechanical assembly in a defense or aerospace environment Familiarity with laser wire strippers and coax wire processing equipment Experience assembling, installing, and terminating complex harnesses Skilled in detailed soldering of micro and sub-miniature components Primary Responsibilities:
Perform both repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and mechanical subassemblies Build and wire precision electro-mechanical assemblies, panels, frames, and cables Support production of harnesses, circuit cards, and related components Operate various assembly and wire processing equipment Execute detailed soldering tasks as assigned Work independently or collaboratively from detailed instructions and blueprints
