The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in sponsor-side private equity fund formation, working closely with senior attorneys on complex and high-profile matters. This position offers the opportunity for significant client interaction and the chance to develop expertise in cutting-edge legal issues in a collaborative environment. Duties: Assist in the formation and structuring of private equity funds, including drafting and negotiating fund documents Collaborate with senior attorneys on a variety of sophisticated transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Advise clients on fund formation, investor relations, and investment structuring Conduct legal research and analysis related to investment fund operations, including regulatory issues Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality legal services Develop and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business development efforts Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and legal staff Requirements: 4-7 years of relevant experience in corporate law, with a focus on investment funds or private equity Strong understanding of private equity fund formation, including fund documentation, structure, and regulatory compliance Proven ability to handle complex transactions and provide strategic legal counsel Excellent research, writing, and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Demonstrated client service and interpersonal skills Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC (or eligible for admission) Skills: Expertise in private equity and investment fund formation Strong legal drafting and negotiation abilities Excellent communication and client relationship skills High level of professionalism and attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements Job Location: Washington, DC Comprehensive health care coverage Paid time off, including vacation and sick leave Parental leave Basic life insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Performance-based discretionary bonuses Company info BCG Attorney Search 1629 K ST NW, Suite 300 Washington District of Columbia United States 20006 Phone :
