Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Kubernetes Microservices Developer/Architect. In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience. Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying microservices to a Kubernetes cluster. Experience in rearchitecting existing monolithic applications into microservices. Experience with developing a data architecture for microservices. Demonstrated proficiency with Containerization. Experience with Helm. Experience with container technologies such as Podman, K3s. Experience working with CNI, Virtual IP load balancers such as Calico or Multus, Kube-Vip. Desired Skills

Experience with C++ and Java software development. Experience developing deployment architectures for microservices. Experience deploying DevSecOps pipelines in Microsoft Azure. Experience tuning a Kubernetes network. Security Clearance Statement

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
