Edgewood Healthcare and Rehabiliation Center is seeking an experienced ADON for our skilled nursing facility!Assistant Director of Nursing Services/Infection Preventionist - ADON/IPThe ideal candidate will have prior experience in a long term care setting, and experience in training and leading clinical staff.Premium compensation & comprehensive benefits package provided.DUTIES:Meet the nursing medical needs of all residentsResponsible for coordinating infection controlResponsible for educating the staffAssist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staffCoordinate and direct the total planning for nursing servicesMaintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practiceResponsible for the accurate and timely completion of medical recordsAssist with interviewing, hiring and orienting of new nursing staffOversee daily staffing processMaintain flexibility with work schedule to address unpredictable needsRun Infection Prevention and Antibiotic Stewarship ProgramREQUIREMENTS:Current LPN or RN license requiredMin. 2 yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings2 years management experience preferred1 year staff education experience preferredExcellent Communication Skills requiredEvidence of basic leadership skills and supervisionFlexible hours requiredEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERThe Facility is an equal opportunity employer.
