Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior IT Systems Administrator
to lead the design, implementation, and integration of our enterprise infrastructure systems. This role will play a critical part in shaping our infrastructure strategy, driving cloud transformation, and overseeing site integrations across our global footprint. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in cloud platforms, hybrid environments, and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily using
Microsoft Azure
and
AWS . Architect and implement hybrid cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud systems. Oversee infrastructure components including domain servers, virtualization platforms, storage, messaging systems, and enterprise applications. Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives, including
site integrations , data center migrations, and cloud adoption strategies. Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency across all infrastructure layers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current infrastructure and develop migration strategies (e.g., lift-and-shift, re-platforming, refactoring). Ensure compliance with security policies and implement best practices for data protection and disaster recovery. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior administrators and project teams. Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities and service delivery. Support end-user computing environments, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure , including architecture, deployment, and optimization. Proven experience managing
enterprise infrastructure
in medium to large-scale environments. Strong knowledge of
virtualization technologies
(e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) and
cloud-native services . Experience with
site integration projects , including mergers, acquisitions, or global expansions. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
