Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of a very fast-paced department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Experience with Capital Markets asset classes/products such as Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Derivatives, etc. is a big plus.

Location:

Charlotte, NC (Hybrid, 3x/week in office)

Pay Range:

$55/hr W2 - all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2

(due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors)

What's the Job?

Engage with business and technology stakeholders on a number of concurrently-run projects

Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows for projects / POCs

Author and maintain BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria with clarity and minimal rework

Facilitate requirements workshops and walkthroughs; drive decisions and close open items promptly

Coordinate hand-offs between business, UX/UI, and engineering teams; track deliverables and manage follow-up rigorously

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

5+ years of Business Analysis experience and having worked in highly-visible, fast-paced environments

Proven ability to author comprehensive BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Proficiency with process-mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and collaboration platforms (Confluence, Jira)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
