We are seeking an experienced
Anaplan Configuration Consultant
to join a top-tier Asset Management firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Anaplan solutions to support key business functions such as Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), forecasting, budgeting, headcount planning, and spend management. This role will require collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to drive Anaplan best practices and streamline business processes. Key Responsibilities: Define methodology, standards, and best practices for Anaplan configuration and implementation. Configure, develop, and support Anaplan models to enhance planning and forecasting capabilities. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Sales, IT, and Data teams, to implement Anaplan solutions that optimize business processes. Manage data integrations and data hubs, ensuring seamless connectivity with other enterprise applications. Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient Anaplan solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve pre-production and post-production issues related to Anaplan applications. Ensure adherence to test-driven/behavior-driven development principles, maintaining documentation and wiki pages. Conduct peer reviews and enforce code style and group development standards. Provide Anaplan technical expertise in the implementation of large-scale projects. Review existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements using Anaplan capabilities. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years
of experience in software development or business systems with multiple commercially deployed products. 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan
configuration and implementation. Strong understanding of
Financial Planning & Budgeting , including forecasting, headcount planning, and spend management. Prior experience supporting
FP&A, Accounting, or Sales Finance functions . Knowledge of
SaaS business environments
and enterprise-level financial applications. Experience working in
Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban) . Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced environments. Anaplan certification (e.g., Certified Model Builder, Master Anaplanner) is preferred. Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Technical Skills:
Deep expertise in
Anaplan configuration and implementation . Experience integrating
Anaplan with enterprise systems
(ERP, CRM, Data Warehouses). Knowledge of scripting and automation techniques for Anaplan workflows. Strong skills in data management, model building, and business process optimization. Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration
