Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Director of Cardiovascular and Surgical Services

to join our hospital leadership team. This role provides critical support and strategic leadership to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is responsible for overseeing all nursing and designated patient care services in cardiovascular and surgical departments. The Director will assume 24/7 accountability for assigned units and is instrumental in maintaining excellence in clinical outcomes, staff competency, patient safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for cardiovascular and surgical nursing services across multiple units. Collaborate with senior leadership to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing practices and care delivery models. Ensure high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care across all assigned departments. Oversee staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to meet organizational goals. Promote professional development, mentoring, and performance improvement for clinical staff. ct as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession and uphold hospital mission and values. Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment, preferably within

cardiovascular and/or surgical services. Certifications:
