Job Summary:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager reports to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of data reporting and analytics solutions across the enterprise. This role partners closely with operational, clinical, and financial leaders to translate business needs into actionable insights that improve performance, guide decision-making, and support strategic goals. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical BI expertise, team leadership, and a deep understanding of business operations within a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This position can be Hybrid/Remote, but candidate must be located in the eastern time zone
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain enterprise dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting tools that provide timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
Oversee data modeling, report development, and data validation processes to ensure consistency and integrity across all analytics deliverables.
Collaborate with BI analysts and software vendors to maintain a scalable and well-governed data environment using Snowflake, Matillion, and other cloud-based tools.
Establish data definitions, governance policies, and best practices for data quality, security, and accessibility.
Support key initiatives such as value-based care reporting, clinical outcomes analysis, operational benchmarking, and financial performance tracking.
Manage intake and prioritization of BI requests to ensure effective use of resources and timely delivery of high-impact projects.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and direction to team members and act as a thought leader for the organization's analytics evolution.
Evaluate and recommend new BI technologies or tools that enhance analytic capabilities and support future growth.
Research and evaluate next-generation AI-powered reporting and analytics tools to further enhance automation, natural language querying, and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen.
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, analytics, or a related field required.
5+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
Proven experience building and managing enterprise dashboards, reports, and KPIs using tools such as Tableau and Snowflake.
Experience with ETL tools such as Matillion strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of data warehouse environments, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
Familiarity with healthcare data, payer reporting, and value-based care metrics strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on tasks and timelines
Comfortable balancing multiple projects simultaneously and adapting in a fast-paced environment
Able to travel on an as-needed basis (less than 10% expected)
