The successful candidate will be the senior-most engineering leader, responsible for the end-to-end development of a new ICHRA platform. This includes defining a multi-year technical roadmap, establishing technology governance standards, and managing technical and operational risks. The role demands a strategic partner who can align with enterprise standards on security, infrastructure, and scalability, and who is adept at leading a high-performing engineering team. The SVP will also be instrumental in talent acquisition, ensuring the team is equipped to design resilient systems, and implementing data governance frameworks to meet relevant regulations. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 15 years' engineering experience, with at least 7 years in senior leadership, and a proven track record in building and scaling platforms in high-growth or startup-like environments. Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, fintech, or enterprise SaaS is essential. The role requires a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and secure software development practices, as well as familiarity with regulatory frameworks like HIPAA and SOC 2. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for technology that enhances healthcare access and affordability, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
